no respect for the can

November 6, 2010 § 3 Comments

It’s a sorry state of affairs–an abused can that is. Could this be the result of disgruntled garbage men?

I know I am supposed to tip the garbage men occasionally. Especially since, I admit, one might find  foul-smelling, horrid waste contents carelessly dumped in wimpy plastic bags and tossed amongst the other refuse. Proper organization and packaging of horrid waste matter is just not my forte.

This poor innocent container –see the black tape mending a gaping wound that it suffered a few months back? Note the position of the lid and upside down position of the main body–it’s been savagely thrown around like a rag doll. Not long ago, the wheels were ferociously amputated and had to be re-attached.

Tip your garbage men. Simple as that.

Tip my garbage man, are you kidding me? Where does this “tipping” end. Maybe we should bake some cookies too, or we could leave a present for Christmas for a job well done all year. Now there’s a thought.

  • Monique says:

Oh please – i am not going to tip my garbage man for ABUSING my can!!! i might tip if he takes good care of my can and treats it with respect. i do not reward bad behavior!!!
